First Impressions: 2017 Buick Encore

Attention Buick Encore enthusiasts... The 2017 Buick Encore is right around the corner, and this new model is a well-executed refresh with plenty of premium both inside and out.

Remember those bulging headlights that resembled a middle-aged Pug? The plastic cladding that gave the car a less than stellar experience? Well throw those memories out the window. The 2017 Buick Encore is dialing in on customer feedback and promises refinement and more premium features. 

Regarding the exterior, Buick has made impressive strides in developing the brand's new corporate face, making the sub-compact CUV feel less bargain bin.  By darkening the Buick waterfall grille with winged chrome and incorporating the new tri-color logo, the new style brings more life and color to the forefront. Out back, the LED taillights also emit a more premium feel and design.

When you make your way to the inside of the new 2017 Encore, there are soft-touch materials aplenty. Everywhere your hand graces inside the new Buick Encore is struck by something soft. Stitching across the dashboard pumps up that premium feel and the new gauge cluster with larger driver infortainment system is a welcomed change.

NEW: 2017 Chevrolet Trax

The 2017 Chevrolet Trax is getting a slight face lift this fall. Sporting a more athletic exterior with bolder grille and headlights, this small SUV becomes even more slick.

The interior of the new Trax will feature a redesigned dash, giving it a more premium feel to the overall car.  Practicality plays a big part in the redesign, as you'll have easy access to the standard back-up camera display, comfort settings and info-tainment. And with Trax's 60/40 split rear seating, you'll be able to fit many different things in the Trax.

With the 2017 Trax, you'll also be getting a GM-estimated 33 highway miles per gallon, available all-wheel drive and plenty of active safety features to keep you and your passengers safe.

What would you do with an extra 24 hours? Leap day only happens once every four years and this year, Fagan Automotive and Chevrolet are encouraging everyone to put their extra time into doing something nice for someone else.

Fagan Automotive is partnering with Janesville Noon Lions Club to offer a great treat for customers. On Monday, February 29th, Fagan Automotive will be handing out a dozen roses to customers that take a test drive. That's right! A dozen roses for every customer that takes a test drive.

Coming soon: Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback

Back in January, Chevrolet introduced the all-new 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback.  This new Cruze features a sporty hatchback with rear cargo space and the sleek redesign we saw with the 2016 Chevy Cruze.

What's great about this new Cruze Hatchback, is the second row folds down, allowing for 47.2 cubic feet of potential cargo space.  Whether you enjoy camping, shopping or helping friends move, you'll have a bunch of extra space to make it happen.  And for those adventurous people out there, this Cruze features a 1.4 liter turbo engine, providing great fuel efficiency for those long road trips.

Also included in this Cruze Hatchback is the Chevrolet MyLink display with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  These two systems let you access apps from your smartphone.

Additional features available include Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist and Forward Collision Alert.  It will come standard with 10 air bags and OnStar Automatic Crash Response System.

Chicago Auto Show 2016

February 10th kicked off the Chicago Auto Show for 2016.  The Auto Show for Chicago runs through the 29th of February and extends into Wisconsin counties of Rock, Walworth and Kenosha to receive select rebates.

Apple CarPlay™ Featured in the All-New 2016 Chevrolet Malibu

Finding it's way into the new 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, is Apple CarPlay™.  This new interface allows you to use your iPhone's features right on the newly designed display.  What this means for drivers is a safer way of making phone calls, receiving text messages and getting directions.

Many people will find comfort in knowing their favorite "Intelligent assistant," Siri, will be on board with them.  You can access Siri voice control by pressing the voice command button located on your steering wheel.  You can also interact with the apps by utilizing the 7-inch touch screen.
